After winning the toss and choosing to field, Matthew Forde bowled a magnificent spell of 1-10 from his four overs and removed captain Rohit Paudel for five to heap pressure on Nepal's top order.

Nepal were 22-3 at the end of the six-over power play, then 23-4 and 46-5 in the 11th over at the Wankhede stadium as Jason Holder also got among the wickets.

Dipendra Singh Airee's 58 kept Nepal's hopes of a first win of the tournament alive as he shared in partnership of 54 for the seventh wicket with Sompal Kami, who was there at end on 26 not out.

Holder took 4-27 from his four overs.

The West Indies will qualify for the Super Eights from Group C with a victory while Nepal will be eliminated if they lose.
